Hi, I'm Nicole — a speech-language pathologist, educator, and lifelong advocate for literacy and communication access. That belief is the thread running through everything I do.

As a board member of A to Z Learning Club, a Nashville nonprofit built on storytelling, representation, and literacy for marginalized families, I lead partnership development work — including a family literacy workshop hosted with the Nashville Public Library.

At Tennessee State University, I serve as an Adjunct Instructor and Clinical Supervisor in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology, training the next generation of SLPs with a focus on accent modification. That work led to a new partnership with TSU's Intensive English Center — the only CEA-accredited intensive English program in Tennessee, and the first at an HBCU in U.S. history. I revamped the IEC's Listening & Speaking course and am now launching an Accent Coaching Lab, pairing graduate SLP clinicians with IEC students for small-group pronunciation, intonation, and speech clarity coaching.

I hold a doctorate in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change — but the credential that matters most to me is simpler: helping people communicate, connect, and tell their own stories.
